Dependence playing video games is bad
Video games have been available to consumers from a long
time. They are a unique form of entertainment, because they encourage players
to become a part of the game. Today's sophisticated video games require players
to pay constant attention to the game, rather than passively watching a movie.
The positive impacts video games are said to have on children is
that they could improve a player’s dexterity and computer literacy. The never
ending improvement that technology provides is better graphics that give a more
realistic virtual playing experience for the players.
Video games also
encourage players to identify with and role plays their favorite characters.
This is referred to as a first-person video game because players are able to make decisions affecting the actions of the character
they are imitating.
This quality makes the video game industry a powerful force in many
adolescent lives. However, many studies show that video games could make
children more aggressive especially the violent ones. Another negative effect
is that children could imitate what they see in video games in real life that
could be very dangerous and harmful.
From all that, we can
conclude that playing video games are good, but for children they need parental
guidance so they will not do anything that is dangerous and maybe harm their
self and anything around them. Lastly everything has its good and bad effects
that can have high or low impacts towards anything.
